Jenn Laserna, Dean of Students

I have been in education for over twenty years. I have worked as a special educator, general educator, math specialist, and now an administrator. I started with Gilbert Public Schools in 2016 and started as the Dean of Students part-time at Oak Tree Elementary in 2023 and work directly with the administrative team to help support all learners to be successful and soar high as eagles. I truly love the environment here at Oak Tree, the culture is welcoming and fun to be a part of. 

Oak Tree Elementary School is a great community to be part of, it has a lot of events to get to know other families in the community and the staff. It has a variety of extracurricular activities to meet every child's needs. It has a Maker Space where children can explore and learn creatively through S.T.E.A.M.

It is important to work as a team with the families to collaborate and ensure every child is successful here at Oak Tree.
