School Visitors
We encourage parents to visit our school to see all of the wonderful learning going on at Oak Tree!
For those who wish to visit a classroom during the school day, it is preferred that the teacher and the principal be contacted in
advance to arrange a day and time for such a visit so as to avoid any conflicts with the school schedule, (per GPS Regulation K-2461). Please allow at least one school day in advance. Please call the office or the classroom teacher in advance to make arrangements for your visit.
All Gilbert Public Schools are now secured campuses. Visitors to the school campus are required to ring the secured entry button and be prepared to show ID as well as sign in at the office as a visitor and receive a visitor’s badge. No one should be in the school or on the campus unless they have signed in at the office. This is District policy. This policy applies when dropping students off in the morning and a parent desires to enter the playground or the cafeteria for breakfast.
Children from other schools are not allowed to visit or attend school with Gilbert students during school hours.
