A Welcoming Start to Kindergarten at Oak Tree | Enroll Now!

At Oak Tree Elementary, we strive to create classroom environments that provide a nurturing and welcoming space where every child is supported and encouraged to explore, grow, and feel part of a close-knit school community.
“At first, Oak Tree was just our neighborhood school, so that’s where my kids went. We moved to another town and we switched to a school over there,” said Marissa Gonzales, a parent at Oak Tree Elementary.
“The new school didn’t feel welcoming. So, we enrolled our kids back at Oak Tree, and now we make the drive every morning and every afternoon. I know my kids are in good hands. Even now, my oldest is in high school and his old Kindergarten teacher still asks about how he’s doing. It’s that care aspect that I’m still receiving years later - that community feeling that we hadn’t gotten anywhere else,” she added.
This community feeling that Oak Tree Elementary creates inside the classroom helps support student learning. In Kindergarten, students engage in hands-on learning, small-group activities, and daily routines that help them build academic skills, confidence, and independence.
Outside of the classroom, students practice working together, solving problems, and sharing ideas, all while learning in a safe and encouraging environment. This combination of academic foundations, personal attention, and community connection gives students a strong start, preparing them not just for first grade but for a lifetime of learning and curiosity.
