Gilbert Public Schools Demonstrates Academic Excellence with Another A-Rating from the State

The Arizona Department of Education (ADE) has released the 2024-25 School Letter Grades. For the 2024-25 school year Gilbert Public Schools has achieved an ‘A’ letter grade for our school district. Further, all GPS schools have achieved either an ‘A’ or ‘B’ letter grade, rating them as excellent or highly performing by the Arizona Department of Education.

GPS Students Earn National Recognition and Achievement at the 98th Annual National FFA Convention

GPS Future Farmers of America (FFA) students travelled to Indianapolis for the 98th Annual National FFA Convention, where they earned a Silver ranking in the Meat Evaluation event. The Gilbert High School Chapter was honored with a Three-Star National Chapter Award, and seven students received American FFA Degrees.

Lights On: Celebrating Before and Afterschool Programs at GPS

Outside of normal school hours, some students and staff are on campus for before and after-school programs that help students learn and grow outside of the classroom. On Thursday, October 23, GPS schools celebrated Lights On Afterschool to recognize our dedicated staff for their commitment to providing safe and engaging environments while also applauding the students who actively learn, grow, and thrive in these programs.
