Erica Karoly, Assistant Principal

Originally from New York and Pennsylvania, I graduated from East Stroudsburg University with a B.A. in Communication Studies. After moving to Gilbert, Arizona with my husband, our two boys, and our dogs (English Chocolate Lab, Barkley, and French Bulldog, Marley) I went back to school to earn a Masters in Elementary Education through Arizona State University. I began working at Oak Tree in 2019 as a 5th grade teacher and eventually returned to ASU for a second Masters degree in Educational Leadership. After six years in the classroom, I am excited to continue my journey at Oak Tree as the new Assistant Principal.

Oak Tree Elementary provides excellent educational services to students entering preschool through sixth grade. We value each student, parent, teacher, staff, and community member in and around our school. We believe that building positive relationships is imperative to creating a positive school atmosphere and we strive to provide multiple opportunities for those relationships to grow.

What I have loved most about Oak Tree is the school community. I have enjoyed watching our students grow academically, socially and emotionally and look forward to see how they impact our community. I have also loved working alongside the amazing teachers and staff at our school.
